Exactly what we needed for our son who struggled to moderate tech use, there are no phones or personal laptops allowed at Oakdale, the students developed deep personal relationships, and friendships with each other under the guidance and encouragement of godly adults. Lots of international students enhance education and foster friendships from around the world. Our son felt loved and cared for by teachers and staff, and still keeps in touch with several friends from the Dorm. It’s a small Evangelical Christian environment that will allow your child to be comfortable in their own skin without sacrificing college readiness.

As a 2004 graduate, Oakdale prepared me for the many trials I faced, from the military to marriage to parenthood. It was a place that helped develop the cornerstone of my faith in Christ. Eight years ago, we pulled our children from public school, weary of worldly influences, relentless social media, and the spiritual void that came with constant screen attachment. By God’s grace, we found Oakdale Christian Academy. From day one, the staff truly co-parented with us, pouring 24/7 love and guidance into our kids’ hearts, minds, and souls. Their “no cell phone” policy shielded our children from digital distraction and harmful content, fostering clear thinking and deeper faith. Even through the pandemic, Oakdale never abandoned the students; every decision was prayerful and deliberate, keeping education and community intact. Three of our children graduated well-educated, grounded in Christ, and equipped for adulthood. Adolescence brought its challenges, but Oakdale’s staff walked beside each child, meeting their emotional and spiritual needs with extraordinary care. We are forever grateful for this remarkable school and its dedicated people.
