2015-10 - Happy Church5 (Medium) Oakdale students are in ministry partnership with The Happy Church, a local church with a strong mission to serving the community. Every Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30, Oakdale students lead Enrichment Night, an outreach to local children from at-risk homes that are connected with the Happy Church.

Oakdale students serve as the hands and feet of Jesus as they tutor, play games, and befriend these children. As they serve “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40), students learn to love God in a very practical way.

Some of the children served through Enrichment Night become Oakdale students, an opportunity only possible through generous scholarship aid that is provided by Oakdale supporters.

2015-10 - Happy Church3 (Medium)Oakdale is able to help these children at Happy Church break the cycle of poverty by preparing them for college and for Christian service.
